‍The Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry Program

Requirements

  • Have a job offer or not,
  • Labour Market Impact assessment or Canadian experience or education.
  • Letters of reference for last 6 years, experience must match job type in your job offer.
  • Self employment experience accepted.
  • Applicants must have a good chance of quickly finding a job in Nova Scotia’s labour market.
  • Permanent Residence status issued upon acceptance!
  • 1 year related experience
  • Supporting education and experience credentials
  • English level CLB 7+
  • Settlement funds required to support yourself and your family (exceptions to this rule).

International Graduate Entrepreneur applying from inside Canada

Applicants must:

  • Produce revenue PRIOR to application. No minimum investment required.
  • A great program to apply to if you want to bring an expanded family.
  • Dependents include children, parents, grandparents, sisters and brothers, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews!
  • Strong proof of intent to reside in the province required.

Opportunity:

  • The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream is currently selecting caregivers.
  • A license to practice — or “classification” — is required to work as a qualified educator in regulated child care or pre-primary in Nova Scotia. Individuals apply for a classification with classification Services, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

The application process is long, and longer if mistakes are made in the application process. Experience and know-how is a definite asset.
